Alex Donovan is thrilled to be starting his MFA in Directing here at the University of Alberta. He spent his summer working on a number of projects including directing the show Wasters for the NotaBle Acts Theatre Festival. Other directing credits include: The December Man (Theatre University of New Brunswick), This is a Play, The Honour of the Crown, Thom Pain (Imaginary Circumstances Theatre Company), Jon & Richard Duel for Honour, Jobbers, Alice Loves the Beach (NB Acts). Acting credits: A Record of Us (Solo Chicken Productions), Somme Letters Home (Theatre New Brunswick), The Adventures of Pericles, Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet, The Tempest, Love’s Labour’s Lost (Bard in the Barracks), A Beautiful Child, The Fried Fox Variation (NotaBle Acts).
